 The Compassionate Carer LLC and site TheCompassionateCarer.com, goal is to create a place for caregivers to share their stories, get inspiration, and become motivated to provide excellent care to those in need in the caregiving industry. 

The Compassionate Carer (TCC) was created by two daughters; first cousins who suddenly became caregivers to their mothers at incredibly young ages. In our research to care for our mothers in the most efficient way, we realized that there were minimal tools to help us connect the dots in the caregiving process. After numerous hours and years of searching, planning, and organizing our lives in a way that would accommodate our mothers experiencing various illnesses, we realized we needed to do more. If there was not a platform to support caregivers, we knew we needed to create one. Realizing that there were many tough conversations and roads ahead, The Compassionate Carer LLC, was born TCC is here to inform, educate, and ensure that others experiencing this journey have a place to get all the answers they will need.

The Compassionate Carer LLC website is heretofore referred to  as the “Site.”

We understand that privacy online is important to users of our website, especially when conducting business. This statement governs our privacy policies with respect to those users of the Site (“Visitors”) who visit without transacting business and Visitors who register to transact business on the Site and make use of the various services offered by the Site is (collectively, “Services”), (“Authorized Customers”).

No. We never use cookies to track your preferences or information. Cookies are used to track your usage of the site.

How does the Site keep Personally Identifiable Information secure?

All of our employees are familiar with our security policy and practices. The Personally Identifiable Information of our Visitors and Authorized Customers is only accessible to a limited number of qualified employees who are given a password to gain access to the information. We audit our security systems and processes regularly. Sensitive information is protected by encryption protocols, in place to protect information sent over the Internet. How can Visitors correct any inaccuracies in Personally Identifiable Information?

Can a Visitor delete or deactivate Personally Identifiable Information collected by the Site?

We provide Visitors and Authorized Customers with a mechanism to delete/deactivate Personally Identifiable Information from the Site’s database by contacting info@thecompassionatecarer.com However, because of backups and records of deletions, it may be impossible to delete a Visitor’s entry without retaining some residual information. An individual who requests to have Personally Identifiable Information deactivated will have this information functionally deleted, and we will not sell, transfer, or use Personally Identifiable Information relating to that individual in any way moving forward.

What happens if the Privacy Policy Changes?

We will let our Visitors and Authorized Customers know about changes to our privacy policy by posting such changes on the Site. However, if we are changing our privacy policy in a manner that might cause disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information that a Visitor or Authorized Customer has previously requested not be disclosed, we will contact such Visitor or Authorized Customer to allow such Visitor or Authorized Customer to prevent such disclosure.

 With whom may the information be shared? Personally Identifiable Information collected on this Site is never shared with anyone outside the owner of the Site other than normal payment information in order to make payment for an item/s via third-party entities such as a bank, or those entities that grant credit to Authorized Customers. 

Social Media Plug-Ins
We may collect information that you have made public via your social media accounts. As a convenience to you, some of our public online services may use plug-ins from social media networks like Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. These plug-ins are indicated by the social networks’ respective logos on the online services and are used to establish a direct connection with these social networks. Integration of the plug-in may allow the social media network to receive information that you have loaded onto the online services. For example, if you are logged in with Facebook while you visit our online services, the plug-in may be able to assign your visit of our online service to your Facebook account. This information exchange takes place automatically.
